Underwater Picnic

Two new videos are up. One for Thanatosis (forever listless) and one for Qui Custos Es Mei. Check them out in the video section.
I’ve also made all the videos available in MP4 format here on the website. Just right click etc. on the title above the videos.
Qui Custos Es Mei, the latest video that I just made today, isn’t up though, but I’ll get around to it soon :)

Two exclusive tracks are coming soon. They will only be available on a compilation by Dedicated Records. Specifically a concept album that revolves around a short story by Bradley Palko, the head of Dedicated Records.
Hardcore Savium fans may have heard the two tracks before under different titles from when I worked under another name.
As they are old tracks they don’t really fit my current playing style, but I just think they’re too good to be kept in the dark.
I hope you will enjoy them when the time comes and I will let you know as soon as the album is up for grabs.

P.S.
Savium finally became available at hotmail.com so feel free to write me some love letters praising my man-boobs and whatnot -> savium(at)hotmail(dot)com :)

New video, sale, and mission accomplished

A new video is up for the old track The Death of an Equestrian. An homage to old horror and sci-fi movies.
I have also created a video section here on the website. Mainly to avoid the videos from taking up too much space here in the news section. But also to collect all my creative outlets and make them easily accessible in one place.

As previously mentioned, Savium won’t be incredibly active for a while. I’m still composing some new stuff but I haven’t touched the guitar in months, the bass on the other hand I’ve made several new ideas on.
An example is a track that for now is called Torrent Wave. If I’m energetic enough I’ll record and post it in week 30-31 where I have a little vacation.

I can proudly inform you that Savium has sold its first track. The track Animus Girl from my first album has been sold for a years usage to an Italian company that makes swimming suits and caps. Particularly my track will be used in an internet commercial for a new line of swimming caps they have coming.
More will be revealed in January when it all takes off.

Regarding my request for more fans on Savium’s facebook profile I can now say mission accomplished. Thank you to all the kind people who clicked like. You can now direct people to facebook.com/savium :)

Have a great summer :)

Sunward I’ve Climbed / Cavorite

I’m pretty proud of this new video. My editing skills are definitely getting better.
The featured track is Sunward I’ve Climbed, but it also includes an old poem of mine called Cavorite.

P.S.

I still need 3-4 more fans on my Facebook page to be able to get a personalized FB url address, so come on over all you anti-facebook bitches. Sell your soul ;)

Savium needs your help.

Savium needs your help. Before Savium can get a personalized url address on Facebook I need 25 fans, so if you know anyone other than yourself who likes Savium get them over here -> http://bit.ly/9stDK7

Thank you :)

Discombobulato!

Welcome to the world of Discombobulato!
Where you get clubbed by neanderthals, bullied by clowns, and a girl steals your heart. But don’t worry, there’s still a happy ending :)

As to Savium’s current state I’ll refer to the P.S. in the previous post.

Remember kids. Safety first!

P.S.
I know I should have some real news, but besides the occasional videos I’m taking a break from Savium for a little while, so bear with me.

The Grey Paradise

A friend and I out on a backwards stroll to visit the building that’s on the cover of Savium’s latest EP.
NB! Wobbly camera action is due to the fact that I am a musician and not a camera man ;)

Blossom video

Another video is up. This time for my track Blossomest Blossom (pt. III)

“Blossomest Blossom” is a reference to the last interview with TV writer Dennis Potter, a literary hero of mine, who died of cancer in 1994.
The interview has been on youtube, but have been removed time and time again by the “copyright police”, so I recommend you check this video where a fellow by the name of Vincent Wood reads the very part that inspired my track.

Original public domain footage is taken from the short film “Silent Snow, Secret Snow“, about a boy who lives somewhere between wake and dream. I highly recommend it.

Artless video + Vimeo

Here’s another video with public domain footage that I made for funsies.
This time with children playing in the streets accompanied by my track Artless Repose from the Lethargic Philophony EP.

You can see the original footage here.

I’ve also made a profile over at Vimeo where all videos can be downloaded for free.

Take care :)
